Over the years, we've found ways to get the most out of their services.Here are our 5 best tips for setting up Acuity efficiently and effectively:

  1. Sync Acuity To Your Favorite Calendar App. We know, it sounds a little silly: "Hey, add this app to help you use this other app!" But, you'll be glad for the extra efficiency that comes with having all of your appointments in one place. Acuity provides an easy tutorial for calendar syncing here.
  2. ...And to Your Project Management System. With Zapier, our appointments move seamlessly from Acuity to our office workflow board on Trello. Like calendar syncing, this is helpful for efficiency. But it's also a great troubleshooting tool.
  3. Be Obsessive About Setting Your Calendar. Being able to block off appointment times is a great tool that Acuity gives you. Too bad it only works if you remember to keep your availability updated! To keep reaping the benefits of automated scheduling, you've gotta keep your calendar correct.
  4. Coach Clients in Using the Acuity System. Just because you know how Acuity works, doesn't mean your clients do. Setting them up to use it independently and successfully will save you from wasting time on "how do I?" emails . We give our clients a handout like this to show them the Acuity ropes.
  5. Funnel Your Web Traffic to Acuity. Now do it again. And again! The easier you make it for your clients to find your scheduler, the more they'll take advantage of it. Put a button on your homepage, your scheduling page, and your about page.
